The pad has a slip-resistant Deep Levant textured surface and a smooth bottom surface. The walkway pad is required in areas where necessary rooftop traffic will occur to help protect the roofing system from unnecessary damage as follows: at all access points (ladders, hatches, doorways, etc.) to the roof, as a walkway system on roofs subjected to traffic more frequently than once per month.
